    Hello,

as the title says, how many times do you tweet an article tweet ?

By article tweet, I mean a tweet where you say you published a new article on your blog/site. Not a money/affiliate/fishy tweet.

Is one time enough, or do you tweet it more times and why ?

    Thanks.

Do you mean you post 2 generic tweets a day or you post 2 generic tweets a day AND 2 tweets about your article (which would mean you write an article a day) ?

    Thanks

That is to low, probably you are still not trying to monetize the accounts.

What would be a good number?

And how many generic tweets? How many "article tweets" with a link to my site?

Well previously I was doing Like 1 every hour but instead of that Now I usually tweet during the peak hours that I have experienced and it yields almost same response.

How many are you tweeting per day?

    Cheers

I have experimented and I have found out my sweet spot tweeting something near in a range of every 2 hours.

Every Tweet of mine is an article tweet except I tweet other people's articles too. The account is aged as well and has genuine 9k followers. Never faced a problem. I have done this on new accounts too. Twitter IMO has a problem when you tweet only articles to the same domain as that can be spammy.

I normally apply the same principle as when I watch the TV. Advertisement is played constantly on repeat so twitter should be the same. My tweets all include an image for maximum engagement, sometimes even a gif which are better. As for the content, you can vary the text content from post to post but technically they are saying the same thing and leading to the same place.

I promote an article on twitter for about a week, maybe 1-2 times a day totaling to about 8-10 times a day (for 4-5 different articles). Rinse and repeat for the whole week.

Just my method, somebody might have a better way!

If you do so, at least change the tweet every time so that if somebody sees the tweet more than once, they will not unsubcribe.

mij33, can I ask you some questions?

-Are all of your 100 posts "link tweets"? Do you mix in anything else, like quotes, pics or other types of updates?
-Do you always tweet one domain, or do you mix in other domains?
-It sounds like you're tweeting every 15 minutes or so. Does anyone ever complain?

I'm asking because I also want to do high-volume tweeting to promote one site. But I'm worried that Twitter may consider it to be spam if I always tweet links from one domain and nothing else.

    1. Its best to mix it around or you do all link article but from multiple site but yours to appear 1-2 a day.
    2. Answer above.
    3. every 30mins or so would be a good numer. 15mins is just too fast.

i would say like 90 percent are links. it's a news/media site. During the day when I post it I usually average like 10 min between posts and then I'll set it for every 30 min at the end of the day

    Yes. one domain.

Twitter is so fast moving that I don't think anyone notices unless your doing super spammy stuff every few minutes, there are times when i post every 5 minutes if there's a lot of stuff happening and I've never gotten a complaint but at the same time most of my content is fresh.

I would also like to add that I worked for a fairly large media site before going on my own and they did pretty much the same thing.

    3-5 for lifetime.

Post 2-3 within 2 days, then one week later, then once in the future as repost a year>X later.

Change up the titles so it's different click bait.
