Depends on how spammy your niche is and are you going to churn and burn domains or go for long term.
If it's long term then first month no backlinks, only buy backlinks when the site can naturally index.
Second month one per two weeks, third month one per week. From there see if it's worth jumping ship or continuing with one per week.
