How many suspensions does it take before a permanent ban?

My 2 month old account has been suspended 4 times for aggressive following. Should I be scared?

Not really sure, mine got suspended a couple of times in a month then reactivated. You should definitely slow it down though just in case.

I got suspended 4 times in one month, i explained i am growing a global brand and will be alot more active on twitter and explained i had alot of verified followers, & that suspending my account is not helping me use twitter as a marketing tool and will use one of there competitors & now they don't suspend me, even if i follow 2,000+ per day. so dont worry too much just be friendly.

To be completely honest I have had an account suspended AT LEAST 8 times. Around the 5th time I was told further suspensions would be permanent.

All it really takes is a well thought out response and respect and you should be fine.
