you can signup and use cloudflare free service to have different ips for your websites sharing a single ip

depends on how much resources (bandwitdh, cpu, space) are you using

the sites have around 10-30 pages on each. but I was worried about rankings, is there any negitive affect for have more than 5 sites on 1 hosting

Single hosting with different IPs is considered pretty safe and secure...

Go daddy is unlimited for $8.99, but Wordpress is allowed only 25 installations, I guess it depends on how much traffic they bring

if those sites are whitehat and don't link to each other, you can have them all on the same ip.

if you are doing any grey or blackhat, the issue is if you get caught they can sandbox all your sites.

they can also (google) find all your other sites if you are with google WMT and analytics.

Checked out Cloudflare, and they apparently work with hosting companies. Apparently, you need to go to one of these, or have a domain already, to get cloudfare to do it for free. And then how many ads do you run to get it for free.

You can have as many as your server can handle.

Don't interlink on the same IP, basic stuff to reduce footprints
