How many real facebook users?

I was just thinking, how many real users does facebook have?
There are supposed to be about 600 million users, but how many of those are fake accounts?

I have opened literally hundreds of facebook accounts, and I'm sure most of you have as well. Think about twitter as well. I reckon at least one out of every 10 twitter accounts is fake?

Yeah it might be possible, other members like you made fake Face book accounts. But if they are also active from their fake accounts than it's not a big issue.
 
initially i don't think facebook cared because they wanted to push their numbers up. I know we always think our community is so big, but internetmarketers don't make up that many users on the net. Even if 25,000 internet marketers had 50 accounts, we would only make up 1.25 million or less than .2% of facebook.
 
Very few fake, but the more important question is how many un'used ?

If FB will become a platform with more then 50% of the users who are not using their accts, then FB will be dead and its not that far.
 
anyone who says there are few fake accounts they are not in their sense because personally every individual has at least 2 accounts one for real stuff and other for stalking :)

so i believe the real ratio would be around 400 million real users and 200 millions are fake :)

I'm going to disagree, I'm guessing there's millions and millions. Go on any "add me" pages, 90% fake for either being pervs, accounts people build to resell, or accounts people use for gaming. 15,000 accounts in pages like that, at least 30 pages and you're looking at almost half a million fake accounts right there.

Then take into account peoples trolling accounts, spying accounts, gaming accounts, and everything else.

Facebook doesn't care though, as stated above they like the numbers. Why do you think they never actually delete accounts? Keep the numbers only going in one direction at all times, up.
 
Remember that FB and YT fare finding and nuking fake accounts fast - so there are not
as many fake accounts as there used to be
 
kinda funny to see how fb has come to this, but it still works lol
