Out of curiosity, has anyone ever had an RDP hacked?

Yes mine too . He used it for many purpose and made many transaction which i believe from his own money.
 
Around 1022 empty without windows ;)

Not mine but one of my client's RDP got hacked a week ago. The hacker decrypted all the files and executables and wanted $500 in BTC to decrypt them. We simply deleted that box and started afresh.

I see o_O And have any taken any particular steps to prevent it?
 
I have build my own infrastructure/method for RDP Like stuff.

I have 32 "RDPs"
