I am planning to hire a full time content writer for one of my sites. Normally how many blogs can a full time content writer do in an 8 hrs work day?
I am looking for entry level experienced writers(6 months to 1 year).

It depends on the the subject matter.

For quality stuff, I'd say 5k - 6k words, edited and ready to publish, is a good estimate for 8 hours of work. That's assuming the subject matter isn't too complex.

EDIT: It also depends on the length of the articles. It's faster to write 1x 1,000 word article than it is 2x 500 word articles because the research is more streamlined.

3000-4000 words if he is alright in the head
less if he does other things except writing for you, or it's a heavy niche
more if he is out of his mind and crazy, avoid these maniacs, probably outsourcing to worse writers too.

Depends on the niche too, as a writer, I'd say one could pump out 4000 words in a work day if it's something remotely easy to research and understand. For anything more technical, it's probs gonna be less.
I'm talking of course about writers that don't stuff content with fluff and oxymorons and tautologies to get free 500 words of crap. If you are fine with suboptimal content you can expect longer content daily.

Thanks for the inputs. 5-6 k would just be perfect! Will start the hiring and hopefully someone joins soon.
