Hi BHW!
I am starting a new amazon website in a micro niche. I wanted to know what is a good number of posts to launch with? For my first website, I launched with 1 post and I feel that was a big mistake as the site took some 2-3 months for getting indexed. This time I'll be avoiding all the noob mistakes I made with my first one. This is one mistake I still don't know the answer to.

2-3 month for indexing??? There is somethign clearly wrong with it. I launched my portfolio as a onepager and it indexed in 3 days

I was a total newbie and made quite a lot of mistakes. I often changed the themes. I had the worst loading time for the site due to so many factors. Google never recognized my site when I typed site:mydomain.com. It was only after 2-3 months it did. I learnt a lot during this process. I never really took a course so learning from all this was a course itself.

Index it through GSC.

Index as fast as possible the faster the better.

Keep adding content on a consistent basis
Any particular number of posts I should launch with before submitting it to GSC?

It does not matter. Launch with whatever you have. IF you have a higher budget, you can post huge amounts at once, post links at premium indexed and immediately add backlinks. It's a nice, but a bit risky bomb :)

Add as many as you can and apply to adsense if u want

I am short with the budget and writing my posts myself. So far I have 4 written. I am going to launch with that only.

Yeah don't overthink it broski, all the above advice is good!
Just launch the site, index it google search console and then keep pumping out articles!

If you give quality of unique fresh content and traffic will be increase and it is useful for indexing.
Then build more back links and improve internal linking structure and promote in social media.

There is no limitation on the number of posts on a new site. Just add more and more quality stuff in your content. That will help you indexing quickly in Big G. Don't try any indexation tool initially. Let Google index your site naturally.

No specific number of posts, 5+ post is good, you should give more importance to quality of content. Quality content will help to index post soon. Maintain consistency in posting fresh content to retain users.

You can launch with one post, or with 0 post, and just a home page, but you need to go to GSC and add your site and sitemap. Also, a few weeks ago i discovered rankmath launched a very usefull tool to index the site inmediately. Just install rank math plugin and the instant index aditional plugin, and follow the instructions.

You still need to add your site to GSC and add the sitemap, but it helps after that.

Will check this method for sure. Thanks!

To answer in numbers about your initial question OP:

You should have at least 3-5 well optimized, well written, featured moneysite articles that sell.

You should also have around 10+ good articles that target various keywords in your niche.
All articles well optimized and around 800 words or so.
Keep the quality of content top-notch is more important factor here.

Make social signals to your site. Build your own social accounts and share there content. Try to make as much as you can autopublishing so you can focus on content.
