You can post as much as you like, but "3.5 engaging in post count inflation by posting excessive amounts of short replies for the sole purpose of inflating your post count. This includes the infamous “thanks for the share.” (If you’d like to say “thanks” to someone for their effort/contribution, make use of the Thanks button)." Just remember quality over quantity.

Avoid inflating your post content. Posting comments like a machine won't take you anywhere. Some of us read entire threads when we found something useful. So, the mods can differentiate between helpful threads/comments and spam. If you post 10 comments in a minute, there won't be any value in it. As a newbie, you should read more and post less to understand how the forum works.
thanks is overrated. Nowadays, people post "ty"

If you're writing helpful posts that make sense, the sky is the limit.
If you're writing just thanks, then maybe two or three until a moderator sends you a warning.
