Many site are built using HTML which doesn't have the best responsiveness on mobiles, yet they seems to be the most popular. Doesn't people here care much about playing a game on mobile any where they want?

That's right. Because phones are an inseparable part of our lives. People now always have their phones in their hands, even when they are in meetings, walking, hanging out with friends, driving, etc.

A lot of popular HTML-based sites use responsive frameworks or progressive enhancement to work well on mobile.

Yeah true, most people just want easy access on mobile even if the UI isn’t perfect. Convenience usually wins over design.

Most people consume NSFW content on their phones since it is more personal and intimate than a PC or laptop. So definitely go for a mobile-first design.
