How many PBN links do you think it would take to get a medium competition(like 37-42) keyword to the top 3 of google? I know it's different for every keyword, but just on average?

It is impossible to answer this I'm sorry. Every Serp in G00gle will require a different amount. Also the strength of your PBN's will be different to the next person. Some Amazon KWs might need 100 PBN's and some local SEO niches might need 5 PBN's and vice versa. There are to many variables.

What you need to do is analyze the top 3 ranking sites in the serp you want to rank in. Analyze both their on page SEO and their backlinking campaign and do your better.

Try with 5 if it not work 10 and if this don't work 15.. if it is still not working try with 20 and if you still face troubles you may want to try with 30.

If you after 30 links don't get it ranked no.1 you must change the keyword it does not work in Google it is "bad command or file name"

Don't listen to drstew,he is just hiding the truth. Correct answer is indeed 4!
The amount of PBN's you need DOES depend on the niche, a keyword with 35 KW score may require 100's of PBN's regardless of the score, as it may not take into factor other factors that may be affecting ranks.

Don't shit on him even if you are joking, it really isn't that funny.

Which niche are you in OP ? Actually the answer really depends on your keywords and niche in my opinion.

I would say have a look at your buged and start "small" and go from there. Like you could do 5, 10, 15, 30 PBN´s.

Good luck and best of success OP. :)

it really depend on how strong is your pbn, not quantity. you might not be able to outrank your competitors if their PBNs are better than yours, so there's no answer for you

I laughed at some of these answers :P

Without knowing the keywords and niche and looking at the entire picture it's going to be people guessing. If you see a specific answer to this question the person answering that has no idea what they're talking about and you should ignore the advice.

Obviously the more related your PBNs are to the niche the better and also the higher quality metrics that PBN has the more juice you'll end up pushing to the site you link to.

Depending on these factors you could be waiting months to hit page 1 for any high competition keywords. Again this depends on a lot of different factors.

37-42 thats somewhere between medium to hard.
Did you checked the top 10 ranking sites?

I seriously hope the OP isn't going to seriously go out and buy 4 PBNs and then expect to rank page 1.

However if he did and ended up on page 1 that would be hilarious!

Everyone above is wrong about this. You need 7links. 7 for sure

I agree with others. It really depend on you niche. But my estimate base on my experience for medium competition is 25 good quality domains.

There are many factors behind it
First of all do the perfect on Page seo
Digg the Keywords, use LSI and untapped keywords.

Add Unique Images, Videos, Tables and Infographics

Site structure is damn important

Make the quality PBN's not Quantity PBN's

Try to get expired domains which has a powerful backlinks profile

Make tier 2 also strong

Joking ofc, it depends on how good the PBNs are, the OBL, and many others. Let's not forget it also depends on how strong your top 3 pages competition is.
