How many pages in MNS ?

Hi everyone,
i plan to build micro niche site. I am interesting how many pages should i include in the site.
I read that it's possible to hit good serp with single page.

I plan to start with 10 pages (unique content) + few pages - contact, about-us ... etc.

What do you think, is 10 pages enough?

Typical MNS is a 2 articles + Contact + About + Privacy Policy. So yes, if you have 5 articles that's pretty good.

I'd say at least 5 articles nowadays. The contact, about, privacy policy pages are a given and shouldn't be ignored. It's worth going a bit beyond what you initially think as well, that extra article or two could really matter, if you have 4 articles initally and add one that increases the site/content of your site by 25%. Huge difference.

my numbers change from 3 to 30. So 10 is all OK.

I agree, 5 pages are good for a start. However, I find it best to grow and improve a site either by adding articles and media or by expanding existing articles every couple of months.

There is no absolute rule about the number of pages. There are one-page sites ranking just fine at the moment.


However, just for the sake of not looking like a thin site, I would suggest you have atleast 5 posts other than the about us, contact us, privacy, terms pages.


You can interlink your 5 posts + link to the home page from each of them. Nice interlinking = WIN!
