I'm build manually backlinks to my blog and was wondering how many outgoing backlinks on a blog is too many? I asked because I don't want to build link on site with too many outgoing backlinks which might be a waste of time. BTW all the website are PR1 and up.

Normally, I don't go over anywhere between 70-100 OBL. I like to keep it around 50 out bound backlinks, but links happen

The more links you have on the page the less value you get from search engines so better to keep it as low as possible.

No one cares how many ob links you have if your site is quality site. If your site is crap you can have one OB link.

Fact is, less than 100 OBL is good. It's the most I would ever want to have on website that was linking back to mine and I'm sure a lot of people agree. So take your negativity elsewhere.

Like most others who have replied, I try to stick to blogs with 50 to 100 OBL's and no more. Trouble is, you might come across a post with barely any comments and only 50 OBL's, then after your comment and link get accepted the post then gets spammed to death... So I would recommend looking at other posts on the blog to see whether it is a spam magnet or not...

Just because he is a new to the game it doesnt mean that I should tell him the same thing everyone else si saying. I have my own expirience and opinion, if you can't handle it don't read it. What do you think how many OBL's Huff post have? Do you think they count their OBLs? If you have a great site no one will give a damn about your OBL's.
Sure, if you're buying a link from some page it is better to have less links, but do you think that link from Forbes on page with 50 OBL's is useless compared to a link from a crappy PR3(with shitty DA/PA)site with no OBL's ?
Furthermore, anyone told this guy that links in the comment are tend to be no-follow, cause I guess that's his link building strategy.

A. I never said tell him everything other people are telling him. Don't put words in my mouth. B. Don't use a PR 8 authority website that updates its content 100 times per day and has made a name for itself over the years as an example. That's sloppy point making. You're speaking about unattainable links, I'm speaking about attainable links that have low OBL. The lower the OBL, the better. Obviously, PR and other things come into play, but as for your opinion on it, we're just gonna have to agree to disagree.
