If you do some research on this forum, you'll have the answer.

If you do some research on this forum, you'll have the answer.

I searched for "email marketing", "opt in". Some of them are about collect email and send out with some software. Some are telling that the way to start is through PPC, CPA, FB ads, social buying, solo ads....

But they are in general talking, I don't know where exactly should I invest my $200.

As tayaX suggested, you gotta do some research before investing. Do some split testing on Various campaigns to see which method works for you. Please read http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/442600-making-money-email-lists-my-40k-month-strategy.html - It's one of the best threads in BHW about Email Marketing and should answer most of the questions you may have on your mind.

Thank you! I will read the thread.

Your question is like this one:

How long can I run if I have a $200 trainers?

There are tons of facts which will affect your actions, and before deciding to spend any money, dedicate a long time to do market research.

didn't laugh so hard in a long while :)

@OP

dude...do your research, then do some media buys.
let's say you have good banners and get a 0.2% CTR
and you pay $0.5 per 1000 views.

this means you get a visit with $.25
then, let's presume again that you write good copy for the squeeze page and you have a 10% conversion (as in people who put in their email).

$200 / $.25 = 800 hits > 80 emails...maybe 100 if you get lucky :)

Highly targeted, filtered by you, not on everyone's else list.

is this an answer you were looking for?

But the answer is quite general, I may lose my money in media buys as I do not have experience in it.

For a newbie like me, I need some answer which is more specific, or in the other way, I hope that we can be directed to useful threads such as what SmartMan did above. It helps.
When we are asked to do research, most of us may either go into the wrong direction, or being information overload. This is not good and quite tough.
Anyway, a Jr VIP has approached me and offer me a generous offer with solo ads and media buy. I think I will go for it.

CPV using a custom landing page and tracking but unless you know how to design landers your budget will be wasted. Direct linking with almost any ad platform is a waste as well..

Your best bet is to either learn to design landing pages. Use a good incentive as bait or, save up a bigger budget and hire designers. $3k should get you started on a winners path..

Oh, and build a list!

yes it is hard to tell cause on some you win on some you loose, it depends how well you make your landing page i mean how attractive, then how targeted is your audience, are u advertising on mobile or desktop, there are many things you need to put in consideration, but learn and study, there are a lot of good posts here about it, good luck

As others have pointed out $200 and no experience might be a waste.

Create a few landers then set up Google experiments so when a user clicks your link it will send an even amount of visits to each, this will let you see which ones convert best. Next add a link to your lander inside a signature on IM forums like warrior forum and digital point.

This will get you some nice free targeted traffic and get you some experience before risking any money.

Good luck
