Hi, I've never ran ads but thinking to try, suppose i have $200 to spend of ads, how many new likes(fans) would it approximately bring?

Depends on how you optimize your ads - You could either spend all $200 and get no likes, 10 likes, 100 likes, 1000 likes.

Like I said previously - it really boils down to how you optimize your ads. If you can optimize your ads so you get tier 1 likes for $0.01-$0.03 per then you'll maximize your cost. If you spend $1 per like then you won't. Really depends on how familiar you are with optimizing your ads.

I know people that got 5k+ likes with $20 and I know people that got 300 likes with $200 budget.
Depends on a lot of things... How you setup campaign, niche, post that you are advertising, etc.

I was advertising entertainment page in US/CA/UK/AU and average price per 1k likes was $10.
I was inviting people who liked promoted post, but FB had to fuck up everything and remove notfications when someone invite you to like page (someone who isn't your friend).

There are too many factors, so there's no approximation. Otherwise everyone would become millionare with high success rates.

It all boils down to testing, simple as that. That's what's going to give you the answers you're looking for.

depends on countries, and on your ad..
eg: for 200$ you can get around 50,000 likes from Iraq
or 8000 likes from USA
or 12000 likes from Lebanon :)

Its Depends on Niche, And Countries and the Content of the Page.. Unless the Page is About Politics you may have Less Opponents

But still its based on Your Brand Name alsol...

My page is about Arsenal Football Club

Wow. A bunch of depends and some ridiculous figures for a starter.

Realistically you can expect to pay $0.20-0.30 per like starting out in tier 1, if you manage to optimise and figure out what you'e doing, this can drop down to $0.02-0.05, lowest I got to is $0.0005. If you are getting them for $0.20 and you just started, it's a good indication, but I wouldn' base your performance on cost, I would base it on ctr and geo. If you'e getting targeted page likes with an ad that's doing 5+% ctr, that will only drop down in cost overtime. You should be cutting ads that are delivering below 3% ctr for page likes. If it's between 3-5%, give it a week, and as I said if it' above 5%, the cost should drop down. If it doesn', either your audience is super targeted and expensive or others still have better ads than you for that audience.

Hope that helps.

I am 90% sure no one is doing ads for my audience ;)
