Why are they too expensive? I would not want to trade my Mac for any PC in the world. That sounds really cheesy but its the truth. Macs provide a 10 times better OS and in the case you wouldn't like it, you can infect it with a Windows. Seriously all those Mac haters prob. have never even used a Mac for more than a week, they think their gaming PCs are the shit. As for IM programs, gosh you can hire such talented coders nowadays that'll make your own superior apps. You'll usually end up spending less.

My brother has an i7 Imac its nice looking but i prefer my win7 laptop.

Id be willing to try a Mac, infact I was going to buy one until it was like 1k for a 11" screen notebook, I could buy a Quad Core Laptop for that, thats the only reason I didn't. Im willing to try new things, hell if it works better than Windows I'd do it.

I like macs, but I love working with clients who have a mac and can't do all the cool stuff I can with a my PC. While I know you can run windows on a mac, and the people who know how to do that are usually pretty cool, I have found that too often I run into people who don't know how to use their mac to it's full potential are the ones who have this smugness about themselves and how "cool" macs are, but don't know how to make it do anything cool except take photos that look like a photo booth.
Anytime I get into the whole mac vs pc thing though I try not to make the mac folks feel bad and I'll say
Macs and PCs both are just computers, and you can do pretty neat things with both.

I also have a macbook. I connect to my pc through a remote desktop connection and use that solely for seo.
That's a bit belittling. I don't like PCs but I would not make it a personal vendetta to show them how much better I am for having a Mac (unless it's just a joke). Of course there's nothing wrong with showing them the cool stuff that can be done? but I doubt that there are much things you can do that I cannot as far as "cool" goes.

Mac user here I have always been a pc user got my mcse cne and many other diplomas licenses then I work for a persona that would only used macs and I was forced to use macs I love it its the best thing ever happen I have 2pc's and a windows laptop but still use and love my macbookpro for just about everything my pcs crash at least once a month <--that sucs oh well I alway be a mac user I also use crossover.

1) Being in the computer industry I find people who use Mac's aren't the kind that run any ".exe's", period.
2) With that, considering your fat yellow comment, the mac you have experienced might have been a little "smarter" if you weren't surfing around trying to download ".exe's"
