Dear b-hatters,

I have search Google and this forum, but can't find a discussion.

Simple question: How many links in total should each tier1 Web 2.0 properties point to my moneysite regardless of the number of articles?

1 or 2 links. If i have morethan 1 article on a WEB 2.0 blog i mix the numbers as 1 link for 1st article 2 for 2nd and i also include other authority site on my links mainly wikepedia.

So only 1-3 links, even though the property has, say 20 articles? Whats your ratio on $site and authority links?

Thanks for the feedback !

I post 3-4 articles on each of my web 2.0s and include 2 links to my site.

I like to use only 1. The more outbound links you have, the more juice will be taken away with every outbound link.

So there's a dilution factor? Even if you match the # of articles with the # of links 1 for 1? (or whatever ratio floats your boat)

Interesting.

I mix around from 1~2, not more than 2, if that is a one time web2.0 property. But of course if the web2.0 is my network, i will put different links on diferent articles in it to my money site.

Thanks. I was under the impression that if there were 20 articles, there'd be at least 20 links back to the $ site, scaling with the volume of posts.

I would only do 1 or 2 links pointing to the money site per article, BUT, I would also point other links to other authority sites to make it more believable. Besides. who links to MFA sites??

Excellent feedback with different views.

1. It makes me wonder. If your Tier1 links are mainly from Web2.0s, I guess you have to be more careful using too many links to your money site, to prevent them from beeing deleted? On the contrary, you should be able to post as many links from your own Tier1 domains?

2. So basically, if I have 1 link from my TIer1, that one keyword will pass 100% linkjuice. If I have 20 different links, they will each pass only 5%?

What is the thing u are afraid of if you create a single link or 10 link all the back link will promote your money site only :)

You are absolutely correct on passing link juice. The more outbound links you have on a page, them more "watered" down the link juice is.

I am absolutely not afraid :) Just curious what is the most effective way :)

Is this on page level, or domain level?

Say I have a web 2.0 property, named something-dot-wordpress-dot-com. If I have 10 posts and two links in total, pointing to my moneysite, will they pass 50% or 100% link juice each?

Thanks so much for the feedback - gave me a far better picture now! :) Love this forum!

Allerman - feel free to give me a little REP love. ;)
