How many keywords to include in a blog post?

Although its not techneically proven what the idial word count is many studies clam that LONG FORM CONTENT performs ell on search results. This being said its not a general rule and you should first take into consideration the standards for your target audience and your industry

Generally any blog post write focus on one main keyword. You can add few LSI keyword into the article.

In a blog there is 1 main keyword and then you can add other related keywords also you can use lsi keywords as well.
There is no limit but do not stuff keywords unnecessarily

First of all, Welcome to BHW :)

Are you referring to keywords? or the word count of the blog post itself?

Keywords:
I usually focus on 1-2 keywords per post along with relative LSI keywords in the article. But in some cases, especially in longer articles, I may go up to 4-5 keywords as long as the keywords can be fitted within the context of the article without adversely affecting its readability.

Word count:
My personal sweet spot is between 1700-2500 words. However, depending on the competition and what your competitors on page 1 of Google are doing, you may need to adjust your word count accordingly. In some cases, 500 words will do, in other cases, you'll need long-form content consisting of 3000+ words.

In short: Look what your successful competitors are doing, and do it even better

You can use tools to determine the ideal word count, or you can manually analyze what's ranking on page one and get a ballpark figure of the word count you need..

Post length and topic focus determine how many keywords to include in a blog post.

Max of 10 minimum of 3. Anything more than 10 will usually make it difficult to craft a sound page title.

You can add 2 to t3 keywords for 400 words article. By the way your question is hard to understand! If you are asking about word count for an article 350 to 500 will be enough. More cord count is better though!

mention main keyword 1-3 times for every 500 words content and it should be fine.

For 400 words article, 1 or 2 keywords are effective and look natural and healthy too

Your title talks about "keywords", but your message is about "words". It could be a mistake, but in case you don't know, they are different things.

For keywords 2-3% of total word count of the article.

I personally suggest for min 1000 words to use for an article.

The number of keywords is not as important as the number of keyword groups

All of you people quoting 1-2 per 400 words. where on earth are you pulling these random numbers from? This crap was the norm 6 years ago, 5-10% keyword density etc, but fuck me SEO has moved on by miles and miles.

OP, see what your competitors are doing, use tools such as POP, Surfer, Frase Cora and see what the results there show.
Learn about keyword clustering, semantic LSI keywords, topical relevancy and TEST things for yourself.
