So lets say I want to work on about 6 different keywords at once.

Would it be too much to order around 3 packages at once? All on the same domain but they would have different URLs.

Just curious if this will sandbox me. Should I take it slow?

The site is 12 Years old and is PR2. Any suggestions would be great. :)

6 is good to work with IMO if you have at least 1 URL per 2-3 KWs. So, keep diversity for each URL.

    BTW, 3 packages of what?

You are really asking two different questions.

How many keywords? As many as you want there are no negative and some positive results from working with multiple keywords.

How much link velocity/total number of links is safe? This depends on a lot of things, age of site, total number of existing links,etc......

Well the site already has around 70k backlinks, says rankerizer.

    Its aged 12 years.

I was considering getting a few packages. One for every 2 keywords possibly. Would it be bad to get like 3 packages? Like say, bigbuddy and his mega pyramid. 3 packages similar to that? Or maybe even 3 smaller packages. I could separate them, but I want to boost them all at a rapid pace. I know a good interval for buying them, but I have never tried to buy several link packages at once. (Web 2.0s social bookmarks yadda yadda. Diversity basically)

That would not be a good idea.. I mean this could be a footprint that you are getting the same type/structure of links for every 2 KWs to your site. You could do mixed linking for each KW (or 2 at a time) so it looks more natural..

I would be careful about ordering multiple packages from anybody. You don't want to end up with the same links from each backlink URL. If you do all white hat SEO number of keywords being promoted at once is not an issue. I have been working on some projects which were ranking for hundreds of keywords, but all links had a good diversity.

Link diversity with steady building pace that is not too fast is the key to avoid any penalty.

Working with multiple keyword is safe if you are sure that your vendor is trustworthy.
