Hey guyz,
As some of you know , I'm doing seo job for my currently company.
But I've got a question about that process.
How many keywords do i need to optimize per pages in the site ?
And how must be located in the site .
Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't go with more than 2 main keywords / page

Just keep it natural and you'll be all good... generally, I can have a page optimized for 2 main keywords and 1 or 2 long tail, just by writing normal human content.

So by saying I've optimized you've just increased their density rite? like %2 ? and include in title , h tags and thats all?

hou can optimize per page for 3 main keywords and around 5 other keywords. Just mention your main keywords in the long tail keywords..keep the density around 2% max...

I Suggest only 3 kyds per page !

It doesn't matter. Write natural content for 1 keywords in your title and you will get a lot of longtails with it.

I always try to optimize more then 2 keyword in a page.. Like "Professonal Website Design in New York". and my keyword will be "Professonal Website Design" . "Website Design in New York" and "Professonal Website Design in New York"

The way I do it:

Choose largest 5 keywords.

Heavily market the top 3 as 'Exact Keywords' in their own campaigns for the page.

So for example:

TOP 3 KEYWORDS:

1. Large Boats
2. Big Boats
3. Huge Boats

I run each of those through their own campaign, each campaign linking to the same landingpage.

Bare in mind the keyword you're running each campaign should be used as 'E' when working out Anchor Diversity for example:

EXACT KEYWORD - E - %
EXACT EXTENDED - EE - %
BRAND/SITE NAME - BN - %
NICHE - N - %
URL - URL - %
GENERIC - G - %
RANDOM - R - %

(I've not included my own % as that's for you to work out..)

Now take the last 2 KW you haven't done unique campaigns for and make them appear heavily with extended variations in the 'NICHE' Anchor (on Anchor Diversity Chart) for your campaigns

The best is target 1-2 long tail keywords per page to achieve the keyword density of 2 -3 percent. It will looks more natural...

i do ecommerce seo, i successfuly optimize 8 - 12 keywords per page... its all the natural way you do it, 1 badly keyword optimization can even hurt you.

Mine usually averages around 2-5 keywords per page but it's all dependent on the size of the article and niche.

I have been doing 3 keywords per page and sometime i have seen results with the 2 of them and sometimes all 3. And yes, it really depend on the size of the article. If it's too short then i even tried just 1 keyword.

I do not pay a lot of attention to keywords but I do research them and write them down on a piece of paper and when I am
writing my articles I just toss them in every so often. Also check to make sure you are not over a keyword density of 3%
