How many hours you guys actually work?

Daily? In reality, the actual time spent truly focused is only about four hours.

Honestly, it depends on the person and the phase they’re in some grind 10–12 hours when building something, others are productive in 4–6 focused hours and call it a day. The real difference isn’t hours, it’s how much *deep work* you get done without distractions from stuff like Instagram or X pulling your attention every 10 minutes.

The replies here actually show something important that often gets ignored: output > hours.

Whether it’s 3 focused hours or 12 scattered ones, most people here seem productive only in short, high-energy windows. The tired feeling usually comes from context switching (dashboards, chats, alerts), not from “real work” itself.

What helped me was judging my day by what moved the needle, not by how long I sat working. If one or two key tasks get done, the day counts — even if it was only a few solid hours.

So yeah, feeling tired while not “working all day” is pretty normal in online businesses.
how many real hours you actually work daily?
like actual work… not just sitting and scrolling dashboard.
sometimes i feel i waste too much time but still tired at end of day lol.
just curious what’s normal for you guys.

For me it’s around 8 real working hours on average. Some days more, some less.

I run a few different things, so it really depends on what’s going on that week. There are days I’ll do 10–12 hours, but because I actually enjoy what I’m building, it doesn’t feel like a typical “clock in, clock out” job.

Of course I’m tired at the end of long days, but it’s more a good kind of tired. When you care about what you’re doing, the hours don’t hit the same way.
