How many hours do you work a week?

I'm starting the work at 9AM and I finish at 19h00 (with 2h break) sometimes even at 21h00. If you need to know is not about how many hours you're working is about what you're doing in that period. Therefore you have always to think about quality not about quantity. Is not enough to sit on your ass in the office for 8h/day and do nothing, you can be productive in 2h/day if you really focus to what you really have to do. My 2 cents about this thread.

As I am a student So I worked as Pert Time. 3 Days Class Off 10-12 Hours. 4 Days Class 3-5 Hours.

20-25 + school sometimes more

About 60 a week....will be much more over the next couple of months

After reading this I've realized my response was useless too. But moving on, you are so damn right. People really should avoid posting stupid shit in such threads and just move on. By posting these crappy replies they're discouraging others from learning. Not only that but it degrades the forum content as when you try searching for some good information you've got to go through countless bullshit of posts just like these.

You mean like... actual work? I used to do that... then i ended up on this site called youtube where they have funny cat and vine videos and it has now past 2 years, 3 months and 12 days since I worked or took a shower. I was sure i will manage to watch all the videos in there but strangely the number of vids i haven't watched increases every day . I am screwed.

Ok, on a serious note - I haven't counted. I'm on the laptop like 14-16h/day but i'm not working all that time. Also, it matters more what you get done and how much you evolve and feel you move forward than how many actual hours you work. There is however a huge advantage in getting immersed into work / in the flow and being curious and passionate about what you do. Doing something that's exciting you - that's a tenfold increase from a person doing a boring job.

What I can tell you is that extremes are not good. Neither working very little not working a lot. Thing is if you get used to be on the computer for an entire day your actual productivity decreases compared to when you're in a "I have 4 hours to do this" situation. Like for example I spent 4 days trying to do this perfect linux VPS setup and I was nowhere to done. Then I had to setup a VPS fast and I finished in like 40 minutes Wasn't the "perfect" VPS setup but was more than decent for what I needed. Same with everything.

It depends on how busy or how much free time is available.
