How Many Hours Do You Work A Day ?

5-7 quality work hours and another 3-6 distracted hours. All you need is 4 good quality hours per day though.

Most people do NOT focus. Someone who is focused can get done in 4 hours what most people take a week to do and what some take a month to do.

I stay around 12-14 hours a day with my PC. But I have no fixed work time like 8 hours a day. I also spend a lot of time for entertainments & other activity.

• I watch daily 1+ movie + minimum 1 hour cartoons.

• Do some research that is not related to my work but about my hobbies or interesting topics.

Still, the breakdown is around 6-8 hours sometimes 10+ hours.

Maybe 5 avg, today like 2 (palmface)
But i think i might have some attention deficit (especially when working)

I second this!

I follow pomodoro technique for 6 hours and work for total 10 pomodoros; so it's 4+ hours of focused work.

I am on the learning route....15 max 12-13 minimum.... Trying and recovering from loss..... nothing seems to work...but that's the problem everyone face early

I work harder than all my competitors thats what keeps me in the game

That's not focus, buddy. :)

You could say most people focus on their facebook feed. That doesn't mean they're "focused". It means they LACK focus. They are not creating plans and sticking to them. They are being lead by their dopamine circuits and letting the world dictate their path instead of setting their own path. Like a moth to a light.

Efficiency just means you're efficient at watching youtube videos.

It's *just* focus.

Look at it like this.

What's your 10 year goal?

Let's say it's to have a net worth of $5 million and have a business turning over $1 mil per year.

So, you then set 1 year goals.

Let's say year 1 is "business turning over $50k per year".

Now, that's your sole vision/goal for this year. Failure to achieve that means you have wasted a year in your 10 year life plan.

Now generally you'll break this down further into 4 quarterly goals, each containing 3 monthly goals.

Your quarterly generally is going to be about 3 things. Let's jump down to our quarter 1 here. Let's pretend your 1 year goal is an affiliate marketing business making $50k/year. Your quarter 1 might look like this

"Backend funnel up and running with full LTV tracking"

"Successful breakeven over 4 weeks in my funnel with google ads"

"2x money made back in my funnel over 3 months"

You now have a laser focused target.

So now have your first month, which should contain about 5-10 things to complete.

Next you break down into the weeks and days.

Weeks is actual tasks, days is actual tasks. Everything above is a milestone that will contain a task breakdown.

A simple month 1 would look like

Create hook offer to get people into email list
Plan out the funnel. The offers and the value emails.
Test 10 different google ads campaigns
Get tracking fully working

Now you plan out your week, and you start assigning times for everything. How long you estimate it'll take.

Week 1

Build 5 campaigns

Day 1

Build landing page with email opt in for first campaign ( 2 hours )
Setup tracking ( 1 hour ) (1 hour because this is probably your first time doing it. Beyond that, 5-10m)
Setup google ads and choose your targeting. Start with 1 base google ads set for base data and you can split that into groups for each campaign. - 2 hours
Write first value email that'll get sent out 12 hours after opt in(Your opt in should be something of value too obviously) - 1 hour
Write second value email that'll get sent out 24 hours after opt in - 1 hour

Done. That's day 1. You've now got a landing page, google ads campaign with tracking and a funnel with 2 value emails going out automated after opt in.

Imagine what you can achieve in 10 years. You've only spent 6 hours working here. 8-9 hours if you were slower which you will be as you will underestimate time at the start.

Now, what is focus?

Doing your daily tasks. Nothing else. NOTHING else.

Your first task is to build a fucking landing page. Not watch youtube videos on creating landing pages. Not watch youtube videos on tracking or google ads. Not read articles. Not ask questions on bhw. Not read your facebook feed.

If you focus for 2 hours without distraction on a landing page, or without reading articles on landing pages you will have a landing page done.

This is work. Not what most people do. I am not working now. This is NOT my work. This is a distraction, but I have a spreadsheet where I track every minute of what I do, so this is marked as "bhw time". Next I'm going to move on to my task list for the day.

Focus is ALL you need. It needs to be your superpower.

I always find myself in the shittest circumstances, but still try to get a lot of hours in.

Usually 4-5 hours and then the rest are just fucking about doing useless shit. Lately I've been having a lot of problems though so for the past 2 weeks maybe 1-2 hours or 30 minutes of actual work

I have my reasons :)

About 5-12 hours, just depends on the day. Being in the states and having most of your team overseas is killing my sleep schedule though smh.
