Okay hello!

I would like a tool or a service that can tell me how often a certain domain address is searched in the WWW. (worldwideweb tab)

The thing is I want to know the results whether the domain is active or not. So if people searched "yummy.com" but it wasn't necessarily existent yet is there a tool that can tell me?

I just want to know the volume of searches per month/week including ones that include domain extensions. Prefer free or cheap but list all.

Cheers.

You could try Google Trends, at www dot google dot com

That's the only way I know of, besides usual tools like SEMrush and AHEFS.

If you want to know how many people hit a non-existent domain in the address bar that resolves to nothing then I believe there is no way to find that out. But if you saying how many searches are there for a domain name like xyz.com in Google and other search engines then keyword tools like Keyword everywhere, Keyword Planner, ahrefs, etc. will be able to help you.

You can use Alexa or Similarweb to get a rough traffic estimate. Also it will provide a list of top referrers etc. But note this data is never fully accurate, as it's just an estimate.
