How many here use Pinterest?

maybe i just dont get it but Pinterest has to be the dumbest "new big thing" in a long list of waste of time sites.

Obviously a lot of VC backing and people getting wealthy, but man, some of these sites are just rediculous

Pinterest is becoming HUGE.

In less than 1 year, they have become almost as big as Tumblr and a third of Twitter!

They are the next biggest thing.

My pinterest account is now 10 days old.

I have 1500 followers (thanks do the bots on the forum)

I get over 1,000 hits per day combined to everything I am promoting on my pin boards

I have made over $500 in sales from this. I expect to double in 7 days

awesome... i guess i wasn't really coming from a "making money" angle, but yes early adopters could make good $$$ i guess

JUST saw a pin 2 minutes ago in pinterest:

Any ideas how to exploit it?

Hey.. if its ok to ask (I am a GREEN newbie.. in fact soo green that I make the incredible hulk look pale..) Where can i get such a bot? How much does it cost? and is there a way that I can ask someone to look at what I have done .. I just want to be sure that I have done this the right way. I set up a blogger blogspot, put images on pinterest .. when someone clicks on the pinterest image it redirects them to my blog in which the link for the affiliate offer is imbedded.. I think this is what I read to do .. I am not very techie.. but Lord knows I am trying. I will be grateful for any advice. Thank you

I'm on Pinterest, and I think it'd be foolish not to be if you're at all into social marketing... it's essentially brand new in the timeline of social sites and inherently less saturated than than Facebook and Twitter.
