I'm going to start some auto blogs and I'm wondering how many blogs should I put on 1 domain and IP?

I have heard 5 blogs 1 domain/subdomains with 2 blogs per Ip address? Is this correct?

No one can give you a really save or optimal value here but I would simply recommend getting a TLD for every blog you make because the pros (higher resale value, branding, maybe better for SEO, etc) do by far outweight the cons ($6.99).

You can safely do 5 per IP without a problem.

I see people talking about this all the time, but I have never seen any real data on this "issue". Obviously having 1000 spammy sites on one IP will raise some flags. Actually if you are on shared hosting, like Hostgator you most likely have over 500 other sites on the same IP/Server.

I belive the IP issue is smaller than people tend to say it is. In a SEO perspective anyway. I've been top ranked MANY times in medium competition niches, on shared hosting with thosand sites on the same IP.

I've also been doing autoblogging for a while, and I've had over 50 blogs on the same IP. It has never been a problem, and I'm sure i could go to over 100 and running just fine.

This is my personal opinion and thoughts, and I'm not a SEO expert at all.

mate so many different setups will work and it really depends on what you want to achieve as well as your setups so no one can say for sure. nowadays, I'll max out at 5/account and 10 for my testers, but when i first started, i did 10-20 even 25 on one account with no problems. Since you are starting anyhow, you can easily just add, monitor, add until you get it suitable for you.
