It doesn't matter about the quantity. But its about the quality backlinks you build towards the site you target. There are no standard limit to build backlinks as long as its natural. Good luck!

There are no exact amount of how many links you should build. It's all about the quality, not the quantity. I rarely build links daily though.

Focus on creating a quality back links that should contain unique content and not a spam.

Number of back links is not mattering in your site. Must keep the link velocity in healthy way and consider the quality of back links.. Because, its completely waste and makes your site penalized when you get spam links. I don't think that backlinks count per day matters, If you have to create quality backlinks. For a new website, its enough to make 5 or 6 quality links but keep do-follow and no-follow in same ratio. Getting links should be natural.

I don't think there's such thing as the right about of links / day that a website can build.
What if a website is doing give away / flash sale every day? I'm pretty sure people are going to be sharing that website like wild fire every day.
