how many backlinks per day ?

I saw some people recommending to stop at 10 backlinks per day and some others saying that it doesn't matter, I am kinda confused.

You can build as many backlinks as you can, since they are natural backlinks then its fine.... Build as many as you can. Google Loves natural work

Why not.... is your site going to get banned if you do 11 links per day, please show me the data that shows that if you use 11 links per day your site is going to get banned by Google...
 
I think Quantity is not important for a site.
Quality is important because natural backlinks effects in good rankings and good traffic.
So try to get quality backlinks.

Your asking the wrong question. What does the number of backlinks per day matter if all your backlinks are crack
 
Go for quality rather than quantity.. the forum is full of information about this, so you may have a look.

But don't do more than 12 links a day!

How do you "build " " natural" backlinks?
 
In my opinion, 10 to 15 would be good for new sites. Get quality backlinks.

The quality backlinks are good for your site! Avoid spammy links and there is no point of getting any particular number of backlinks to the website for a day. So, focus on quality instead of quantity!
 
Gradually increase the links count and make sure it will be natural links and check that help you in SERP or not.

For me, it doesn't matter, try to focus on quality better than quantity.
 
As many people have said, you need quality over quantity. This means that you need links from niche-relevant websites and the page your linking from is very related to the page you are linking to. In terms of "naturally appearing" backlinks, you need to diversify the anchor text to make it look natural. Do you think a natural backlink profile will have exact match anchor text for every link? Also, some links take longer to get indexed than others, so it will appear as though you are obtaining backlinks at different times too.
