If you can make one unique post per day, developing all your energy into making a great post just everyday, then you should be making 30-31 articles per month.

There is a saying that it is not quantity that matters, but the quality. There is no fixed number of articles.

No one can tell the exact number but keep on uploading quality content that will help you to rank higher

It depends on your niche.

If you're on a highly competitive niche and focused on competitive keywords with a lot of traffic, you would need to post tons of articles targetting those competitive keywords and related long-tail keywords that may be informative.

As a general rule of thumb, a site that can pull decent traffic across generic niches should have anywhere between 150 to 250 blog posts.

But when it comes to the actual site you should build, you need to focus on what your niche competitors are doing.

You don't want to beat yourself up and double whatever their post counts are.

You can easily find this information by looking for the sitemap of your competitors.

Just type in their domain name into the Google browser forward slash.

After the forward-slash, put in sitemap. XML.

There are variations to this, so look them up and keep tweaking their URLs until you see their sitemap.

Click posts so you can see how many total posts they have.

Which platform are you going to use to monetize. Like if you want to make money with Adsense, you can do with 33 articles only after approval.

I think it depends on the niche. I know finance and money making niche get more money. Also, the country your visitor comes from is very key. Visitors and clicks from US, UK, Canada certainly earns more than those from third world countries.

Your focus now is to get more rich and unique articles as much as possible. This will bring traffic that will in turn earn you money. Don't focus on money too soon.

Earning does not depend on number of articles. It depends on the traffic your website is getting.

If 33 articles are good enough and you have started to get traffic, you may get accepted in Adsense.

you can post the articles as many as you want. but you need to make some quality backlinks as well.

remember always choose quality backlinks because quality is better than quantity.

Have you also created some back links? Is the website getting traffic ?

There is no exact figure. Some starts earning after 10 articles published while some struggle even after publishing 100 articles!
