its depend on what kind of website or niche you in, some website such as wikipedia have million of article, some micro niche only have 5-10 article.

I started with 20 articles, now I add 1 article every week to the bog section. My website is growing perfectly day by day and I am satisfied with this.
Not sure what your mysterious "i need people that understand what i mean to reply" means. So I'll cover all bases.
"Maximum" number of articles? There is no maximum. On any type of site. Whatever it takes to supply all the information you want to get out there.
Do you mean "minimum"? As in, what is the fewest, or least, number of articles I can get away with on a site?
For a PBN site, I do a home page, contact, about, privacy, and then several articles. Maybe 10 pages total. More is fine, but this number has worked for me.
For a money site, "it depends," as they say. Some sites only need a few pages. If your money site is selling an ebook, it's not realistic to try to make a 50 page site. Make a home page that tells how great your ebook is, and a few other pages, and your done. There's nothing else to say. If your money site is selling 100 products, well, then you'll need a much larger site to cover all your products and to make pages to target your maybe many dozens of keywords you're trying to rank for.

Hi, @Speed23. No need to give your fellow BHW members some guesswork, mate.
There's no standard number of articles a website must have. If you want your readers to come back for more, you need to post as often as possible.
This "as often as possible" is relative. It's up to you how often is often.

I suggest you to regularly update .If the site is bigger then lot of pages get indexed ,people also regularly visit your site bcos there is always fresh content to read
What i am referring is a PBN. I thought you guys will understand instead of mentioning the word.

you can't stop posting content. The site loses it's authority that way (not all the times but you know). So keep updating your website, even if it's 200-300 words only.
I don't know about that. OP says he's talking about PBN sites. For a PBN site all I care about is it's backlinks. If it's got good backlinks, and they stick around, then I'm happy. I don't bother constantly adding content to any of them.

Content is always King. So, it is important to update content frequently in our site. My suggestion is to start a content site with 10 articles. But, don’t put them at once. Just write articles one at a time and publish each article as soon as it is finished. Because Google likes new content and the content what the user likes. So, keep adding new articles over time and start doing SEO and link building.

Make a research related to your site and niche, you will get some idea about the number of articles needed.You can the minimum of 15 to 20 articles in sites.And add articles routinely when the site needs updating.

PBN or Money site it does not matter to add a good quality article.There is no limitation in the maximum number of the article.
