How many articles are good per keyword.

Hi Friends,

I am creating one article for each keyword and then creating 3 level tiers on it. My question is for tough keywords should i create more articles and post them on my money site or just one is enough. Do posting articles without creating back links on it give any SERP benefit.

One article is definitely not enough at all.

Yes, for micro-keywords your on-site optimization and article will be enough to get you ranking.

This, for example, is like 'how to buy blue ribbons on ebay in december 2012'

But for big keywords like 'blue ribbons' it won't help you out that much.

I'd suggest to use more then 1 article directories,at last 10 if you're doing everything manually and you're posting different articles on each page.Beside that,you should concentrate on getting a bigger platform diversity if you want to score high.Getting backlinks just from Article Directories it won't be enough.You should try other forms of backlinks aswell,like Web 2.0 properties,press releases,guestposts,social bookmarks and so on.Don't just limit yourself to one platform for your first tier,or you might get penalised.Beside that,if you're using multiple layers,you should have multiple platforms in this upper layers aswell.

I think Motzart put into perspective. It's solid. Personally, I've noticed that I haven't been able to round down what amount of articles and submission to directories works, and what doesn't, even for the same market and keyword target. The way I see it, it's a constant workflow until you start to see results happening...and then it's off to the races and data mining.

Yea I'd agree. Shouldn't really think in terms of "i need x number of articles to rank for this keyword." Just keep writing and distributing articles and building links. Keep you anchor diversity high and don't stop until you start seeing the rank you're hoping for, then scale back and maintain.

I have prepared some more articles for the same tough keywords but can't decide where to use them. I have already did unique article on money and unique on tier 1 and spun 70 % on tier 2 and 3.

Ranking has improved but still room for improvement. So question again, should i use the new articles same as above or just post in money site to give same kind of matching content to money?

which one would be more effective. One article linking to 9 unique articles or should I post half in money and use one or two in tiers.
