How Many Ad Accounts Do You Usually Test Before Finding a Profitable One?

For me it’s usually 2–3 accounts before I find one that sticks.

If you’re running higher-risk niches, expect to burn more accounts upfront.

I’ve had accounts last a year, others die in 24 hours, it’s really luck + setup.

I’ve noticed sometimes the first ad account dies quickly, sometimes the second runs smooth, and other times it takes a few accounts to finally scale. Just curious, how many accounts do you guys usually test before you hit something stable and profitable?
Warmup method matters more than number of accounts in my experience.

Honestly, it’s hit or miss—usually around 3-5 accounts, but sometimes it takes more or less depending on the niche and targeting.

Honestly, it varies—sometimes you hit gold on the first try, other times it takes 3–5 accounts to find a rhythm

For me, it’s usually around 2–4 accounts before something clicks and stays profitable. Patience is key.

I’d say anywhere from 2 to 10 depending on the niche and how clean the account setup is.

I’ve had luck on the 2nd or 3rd account, but it can take more if you’re testing different strategies.

It’s a bit of trial and error—2–5 accounts usually give me a stable one, but I’ve had rare wins on the first.

Most times, 3–4 accounts are the sweet spot, but I’ve seen people find success even with the first or 10th.

It varies a lot, but I tend to hit a solid account around the 3rd or 4th—never know with ad platforms these days!

Depends on the niche, but I’d say 3–6 accounts on average before you find a consistent performer.

It's less about a magic number and more about constant testing and learning. Some campaigns work on the first try, others take a few tries to find a flow. Focus on understanding why an account performs or doesn't. Analyze your approach, tweak your offers, and refine your angles. Persistence and data analysis are key.

It really varies, but usually testing 2-3 accounts is enough to get a feel for what works.

It’s all about finding the right balance in targeting, creatives, and optimization, but typically 2-3 accounts should give you a solid start.

It honestly depends, but usually around 3–4 accounts is what I see before something clicks and stays profitable. It’s a mix of trial and error!
