How many accounts per proxy in late 2018?

As well all know the previous conventional wisdom stated that you should have 3 IG accounts per proxy.

However after speaking to a few colleagues, I've heard that there has been a recent algorithm change. A lot of people advise having 1 account per 1 proxy at this point in time.

Is it still safe to do 3 accounts per proxy? Or would it be best to stick to 1:1?

Do these same rules apply regardless of the proxy type? (datacenter/residential/4g)?

What proxy setup has the best balance between safety and money-saving in the current state of IG?

You could run 3 accounts on 1 proxy if it is a good residential one, up to the risk you're willing to take. If you don't surprises in the future I'd stick to 1:1 mate
 
1 Account is best obviously if you have the budget, otherwise I do 2, at most 3.

I would mainly stick to 2 or 3 depending on the quality but yeah.
 
To be on the safe side 1 ac per IP. ButBut can go for 2 ac per IP atmost.
 
I used 8 on my home IP.

One day one of the big accounts got banned. Ever since then there has been random like blocks on my IP.


It's finnaly recovering with 2 . I tried 3 and there was issues for a week or two.

1 ban and all them will have issues.
 
3 accounts/ residential proxy. Noted no bans of blocks for quite a long time.

This a 1000 times. Everything is fine, until it isn't. If you share IPs all accounts are at risk if one has a problem. So you need a risk analysis. Is it worth saving a few $ in the beginning with the risk when the accounts are profitable down the line you lose them all because you saved on <$20 over the months by sharing IPs / proxies ?

I really regret it.i was getting 300-500 followers a day on my main(100% white hat niche ) . Then it got banned and I got lucky it got umbanned. Now this account cannot follow with any bot otherwise it gets pv(even 50 followers a day).I'm pretty sure Instagram knows what program is used once your caught :)
 
Thanks for all the replies guys. Albeit expensive it sounds like 1:1 proxy per account is the way to go.
 
Obviously the best is 1 account per 1 proxy. But as @Dillon told its possible if u have a budget.

In additional a lot of depends on your accounts and actions and trust history of all of that stuff.

Common example:

U got a "super duper" party with your friends and all of u using instagram being connected to the same wi fi. All of u have the same IP (aka proxy) and all of you do some actions - like/follow/comments and etc. In this case IG will not ban all of u, cuz all of u doing just a random actions and very few actions compared to the number of actions when u run accounts at bot.
Thats why the number of accs per 1 IP directly depends on your actions.
 
1 bruh, why mess about trying to save a few $ and risk accounts, time + mental stress?

Unless you're on a super tight budget and don't mind playing with fire stick with 1:1...
 
With my experience last months I can tell that the best is one account per private proxy. But if you're using mobile 3G/4G/LTE you can run 10-15 accounts per proxy with no problems at all. It has a different way to work as many mobile users use the "same IP" and it's rotating all the time.


On residential IP's I can run safely 2 to 5 accounts for a short term without having any problems but for example I don't like to run any accounts on my home IP (just if it's extremely necessary) so I've a couple of residential proxies just in case,

I never leave more than 2-3 accounts on my residential IP's and I also do not do that for more than 2-3 days, sometimes when I get a follow block with a residentialon 1 account I change the proxy to a residential one tll get back normal and than I change back to a private one, till now that way is working just fine with 144 accounts the last months, I never get banned, shadowban only in two accounts and very few blocks over the last 6 months.
