*** Alert *** This is not a chance for false advertising (or real for that matter) ... I have been 'lurking' for a while and have read some of the thoughts of the 'dirty' minds on here; can't really say much about that, as I tend to stray to the inappropriate as well -- guess that may be part of the reason I am here. But please, don't hi-jack my thread with things I just don't want stuck in my mind LOL!

I was just wondering how long BHW has been around? How long have you guys been members of the forum compared to how long you have been doing whatever it is that makes you $$ (or not make $$, but you still do ;p ).

I can't remember when I actually joined, but over last week or two, I have told myself I am going to choose one avenue and actually WORK it into something that profits. 30$ a day is not too lofty a goal, I don't think. Not putting time limit on it like I have seen others do. I did that with my first attempt at IM about 1 or 2 years ago, and it made me crazy -- not seeing any sales, not being where I thought I should have been, not knowing where to go or what to do. I have about 45 threads save/subscribed and I am going to spend this weekend looking into what I feel will get me to my goal eventually. There was a thread about contacting product owners about their software being shared that I plan to do while putting together my actual strategy, that should bring me a little cash (maybe even more) while I work and think.

Just a little background -- I started my online work by jumping into the health and fitness niche around 2010 I think. I knew that it was highly competitive, but I also knew that if there was a lot of competition, then there was a huge market. I figured if I could get even a small small piece of the pie, at least I could taste what it was like.

I did a sorry job at choosing key words. I followed some stupid ebook that told me to hyphenate my url if I couldn't get EMD (how-to-lose-10-pounds*net or daily-diet-plans*net something like that). I did a horrible job with my articles (piss poor job of copying other published articles). And just never put forth enough effort to learn what I needed. So here I stand, learning in the shadows, little by little.

I just wanted to know a lil about the people I am learning from. Sorry for the length of my first post. Thanks to all that have helped me and don't even know it!

Turning my black hat to the back and getting on track! Well it's more of a grey seeing as I haven't done s**t yet. --- That first line sounded like the beginning of a theme song for BHW.2

I don't know whether to give you a thanks or be offended! LOL! I actually think I suck at content writing, I guess we will see in the future. I guess I have a good imagination -- sometimes daydream of me playing Billy Bob Thorton role in Monsters Ball with Halle Berry -- hmmm lol jp; don't think my wife will like that one.

But thanks for the welcome anyway!
