How long will it take to update Meta Tag?

I was having a set of META tags for title, keywords, description etc. Yesterday I change it all. When I see my domain under who is (using domain search tools) or even by pointing my browser to http://www.websiteoutlook.com/www.mydomain.com it shows my old title and description. I even deleted and resubmitted my site & sitemap to Google using the webmaster tools yesterday.

So, any idea how long does it normally take?

I want to start promoting my website but I can not as it's still pointing to my old meta details

I think it will change when your site gets catched again... but correct me if im wrong.

Sounds logical to me. That is what even I was thinking but yeah let's wait and see. Thanks for bothering to reply.
