Hello everyone! I started a MotoGP website (name of the website without Moto and without GP in name due to trademark), I also have a 40k+ Instagram account, but unfortunately, those people are too lazy to actually come to my website regularly, so I'm trying to get organic traffic through Google Search. I have SSL certificate, It's https://, it's verified in google search console, on bing, everything that Yoast suggested I pay attention (meta descriptions, tags, alt tags on photos, only 1 H1 per page and so on) Internal and external link. Also, I have installed w3 cache plugin so it is now faster than before (it's a WordPress site).

My question is this: How long should I expect to see no traffic from google search before it starts working? I'm working on backlinks at the moment but I am new to websites, SEO and stuff so at this point I don't have any idea on how to get backlinks from my niche, so I wanted to work on posts (news) as best as I can and wait until Google starts to show. Would that be a good idea?

Hope some of you know answers and have some advice because I don't have a lot of $ for promotion at the moment.

It depends... 3-6 months if the keyword is not competitive

many factors, what keywords you target? how about competitors? or you can just buy keywords service here

You didn't say how old your site is. But generally speaking, once Google gets to know your website, you can rank after a few weeks IF you do proper keyword research (sometimes I see traffic even the next day). This depends on the niche, though, how strong your competitors are.

In my opinion, RankMath is much better than Yoast.

If you don't know what you are doing, I'm not sure if building links is a good idea. It's better to have no links than to have poor links if you want to build a decent website. If I were you, I'd focus on learning how to do keyword research, experimenting with on-page optimization, and adding new content.

Read related thread here. The way you specifically mentioned you have ssl seems like you are new in this.
Don't take me wrong but you have to figure out works best for your project on your own.
No body will specifically help you here or any where but you can get a lot of ideas from other thread which share journeys i this forum.
Good content, good back links is kinda everyone's advice.
Let's start with content. Try to find the least competition keyword in your niche for example instead of trying to rank for Audi start with Audi a4 seat covers in red color. You can search your competition and analyze their content to get keyword ideas instead of paying some service.
Now while writing instead of just filling fluff in single paragraph find a correct format. Headings and correct formAt are important and there are many post in this forum from where you can get ideas. Again you can search your competition which are ranking and try to make something better than them for user to be in 1st page.
Backlinks? They are important but to get them without spending? Hard but possible.

Seeing SEO results typically takes from 6 months up to one year (even for established SEOs). However, it can take longer too, since hundreds of factors count on it. This can of course take less, too. It all depends on the competition and the keywords you are targeting.

Usually it'll take a few months to a year to start seeing significant results. This unfortunately is a waiting game and if you want immediate traffic, you can use social media or turn to paid sources

6 months

It depends on the website, content, backlinks, age and many other factors,
If you have no experience with SEO, it can take a bit longer as you need time to find out some good way to make it actually rank,
However, even if you are experienced, normally SEO takes some time so you can see results, i would give it approx between 3 months and 1 year, with the right work ofc

It will take solid time, keep publishing user intent content, build niche relevant and authority links and improve the credibility of the site. Optimize content for keyword intent and improve brand awareness.

It takes months/years depending on keyword competition and content quality. Keep your website on-page factors updated for good results.

It depends on your niche and your content, so give unique content, backlinks with guest posts to rank your site.

Thanks a lot. Website is only about 4 months old, it is in MotoGP niche, so there is not so much keywords. I put news there basically so it's like a blog website when it comes to SEO I believe.

I got traffic 6 clicks from 12 impressions on Google Search Console when I added https:// , https://www and all variations. I will wait and try doing everything you said, Thank you :)
