How long to wait?

Got hit by these September, October Google updates.
Should I wait to make any changes or can I just go ahead and edit content?

Traffic decline started from 21st Oct.

I'd suggest that you wait for the next update, because google messed up big time in this update, even the renowned bloggers got hit.

Yea and I see lower quality websites ranking on the serp.

Wait for few more days. If it declines, make changes and update it

Just wait until this week and check the broken links and which keyword positions are dropped

Analyse and rectify them after that you start the next process

You can do the changes anytime. If they will really improve the content is never the wrong time to update it.
