How long to wait before boosting Facebook posts

I was recently sent this conversation regarding boosting a post...

It works better if u promote it from when its posted generally.

To be honest we've found the opposite. I,e if you allow a post to get all the "organic" views it would have got anyway, then you add the payment.
Otherwise when we review the stats it just seems like you pay for views we would have got for free.

Is there any truth in the second statement?

Yeah. it looks better than doing a quick boost and then zero... waiting some time and booting the post will give your audience a real look of a viral post. also don't forget about addmefast too :P
 
I always wait to gather some organic/natural views before boosting my posts
