I have a brand new local business site that I am working on and my top 2 biggest competitors have DR 30+ websites with about 300-400 RD and pretty decent onpage SEO, (the rest of the competition is very weak) but my website is brand new and I want to outrank them for the main keywords. My onpage is perfect and better, my content is unique and better, site speed fast AF.. got that shit covered, its now a linking game that I don't want to F*** up, I'll also be adding more content. Site is currently about 6 weeks old and not 1 backlink yet except for my GMB I just got.

I'll be doing some manual outreach guest posts, I'll probably buy some high quality links here from the reputable guys. I have a budget of about 1-2k per month.

My plan is to start with some press releases, local citations then go for some high quality guest posts, and quality link building.

I just want to crush them like a cockroach

How long would this realistically take and what kind of budget for SEO should I expect?

Just be most careful when buying links. It's pretty hard to mess up building your own, even if you make mistakes. Google corrects a lot of that stuff now.

I can make 40+ in a week .. if you like .... just post backlinks on 80+....

increasing DR is easy..ranking is hard...High DR doesn't mean high traffic .. most important is ranking..but it will take time about 6 months

@nethead01 can I ask how you are doing your Press Release, are you writing it yourself or getting someone to write it for you?

The reason I ask is, I've been looking at doing my own and I've visited countless websites for guides but they all give conflicting advice.

Thanks

If you get many backlinks with DR 50+ you should be at DR30 in the moment ahrefs crawls all backlinks.
