first time i asked my bank to chargeback a hosting service. there is $300 and they told me to wait for a while. anyone have experience with this problem ?

All chargebacks require some investigation, the bigger you spend and the more clout you have with the card company or bank the shorter the investigation. AMEX makes it easier for buyers than Visa/MC-which are a little more friendly to sellers.

the more you annoy them the quicker it will get sorted in my experience. most big companies drag their heels whenever they can. But that said they do investigate this stuff, specially with the big increase in 'friendly fraud' of late.

Just call them like crazy.
Do some social engineering with the person.

If its a girl, hit on her.
If its a guy, talk macho man stuff.

BTW is that a lamp in your picture or a chick.

its a lamp but how the photo is taken is to trick you into thinking its a chick

seems like they are all for the customer more so the seller

i have requested 2 chargebacks so far with my bank of america.. they usually wait for the payment to be cleared (so they can see more info about it) they put a temporary credit on my account of the same amount and take between 3 days to 2 weeks to fully complete the investigation.
