How Long Should I Wait To Start Building Backlinks?

How long should I wait from purchasing a brand new domain to start building backlinks to it? I already have a tonne of unique content on the site as well as scheduled for the next 6 months. Just wondering what the average wait time is to start building backlinks to your moneysite? As well should I wait a week or two after starting to build backlinks to my site to start building tier 2 and 3 backlinks. Any info and tips is greatly appreciated as I am still recently new to the SEO game and running a few test sites at the moment to see how I do and learn as I go so that in 3 months from now I will have my own solid strategy for ranking sites

I usually wait till google index my site

For brand new site, you have to start slowly..don't blast ton of links..mainly use raw urls as anchor and keep exact anchor text percentage below 30%

Start as soon as you have the url ready. No need to wait for it to index etc.

As long as the links are coming from high quality unique content, you can start right away.

I'd start right away, drip feed some high quality PR links in and maybe make a few videos for yt.
