Bought a service here 2 weeks ago, it was supposed to be a "few days" thing.
The buyer has a long history here in BHW and lots of good reviews.

At first, communication was prompt.

One week passes by, no response. Follow-up message.
Few more days, no response. Follow-up message.
Few more days, still, no response.

How long should I wait?

I would post now if I was you. If they feel the shit list is out of place then they will defend themselves, and deliver and everyone will be happy.

Depends on the amount of money involved and agreed turn around time, and whether they have actually been online. In most cases I'd probably shitlist about now.

But first, find there contact details on every platform you can and message them once everywhere again, warm them that you're going to shitlist if you don't hear back in 24 hours; if they see the messages and don't respond and solve problem then do it.

Talk with the mods about your case.
They know better than us what should proceed in your case.

It was a miserable $20 (test article), but it doesn't change anything.
The communication is happening outside BHW actually

Shitlist doesn't go live immediately. A mod will try to get in touch with the seller before it goes live for their side of the story, which they will usually respond.

So go ahead and start the process.

If it originated on bhw then you can shitlist them even if the communication and deal were made outside bhw.

For example, you saw a bst, contacted them on skype and they directed you you their website order form.

But you need to be able to show this in your evidence.

If you saw their video on youtube, followed a link to their site to order and afterwards tracked them to bhw then it did not originate here.

Even so, sometimes you can still get help if they are a frequent seller and want to preserve their rep even if mods can't force a resolution or give a ban/infraction.

If they are not responding then just send a message that you are opening a shitlist. You only have to show proof that you notified them. You don't need their acknowledgement or response to open a shitlist thread.

As mentioned already, you can always ask a mod.
