How long Sandbox takes?

Hello,

Anyone know how long your site will be in sandbox? I mean how long this process last and after how many days/weeks site is back to the position.

There is no sandbox, in the sense that every new site is put in a sandbox. If you have sent too many signals relative to what is normal in your niche, then you will be filtered out for a while. IOW, don't get 10,000 links in a day with the same anchor text or anything else that seems artificial. If already in this filtered state, you need to continue working on the site at a more natural pace. You could be out in six months.
 
Just keep building quality backlinks and provide good content and you should be able to get back your original position, but unfortunately nobody can tell for sure when you will get your ranking back.
 
Its all speculation but my belief is that it directly relates to how "high dollar" your keyword is and how much content there is for that keyword and not to mention how hardcore you make it look like you are automating backlinks ETC. If it looks natural you will get out sooner, but anything more than that is just speculation.
 
someone mentioned that you can be sandboxed for 6 months.. hmm.. anyone can confirm that? :)

btw. I was on the 15 position and after a few days I'm on 115-180 . That is just a google dance right ? ( new domain )
 
It will be longer if your niche is more competitive / expensive on adwords.

I have come through the 'box several times on medium-high keywords. Twice, it took 3 months, almost to the day. The last time, it took just over 4 months.
 
I hope then it will take 2 - 3 months.
Its one month ago that i use xrumer service to shot my new website *.eu domain. First 4 days it was great i was 1st on g00gle and then dropped. Now i build new stable backlinks. And the possition is day by day worst. :(

:( even new websites appeared with same keyword someone else made *.info and *.org websites and they have only like 5 - 10 backlinks and they are both on first pages more like 2 weeks and mine page is 20 or more

Page must by sandboxed because i cant explain how mine page is doing so bad in google even if i have original content and more backlinks that everybody else for that keyword.

i am really unhappy with that totaly blow away good keyword. can i save this? or only time save my page :)
 
The only way out is build good quality backlinks. Just waiting doesn't do anything.
 
ivictus is spot on. If you stop building links you will be in the sandbox forever but if you keep building links and don't stop your ranking will come back.
 
I had few niches sandboxed for about 2-3 months due to tight linking network i used on nichestars.com: too many inbound links on a brand-new website within few days.

To my surprise (I didn't do any promotion for these sites any more) they got out of sandbox after 2-3 months on their own. =)
 
Just keep building your backlinks...

I have had a few sites go into the 'box' only to recover about 2 months later...They werent in very competitive niches though
 
I don't the sandboxed exist unless you are penalized. It is more a case of just building enough links.
