how long it took you to learn coding?

Hello!

how long it took you guys to learn basic coding, where is the best place to begin?

Id like to know opinions of members who learn by themselves or with friends

I learned from youtube videos....any of them will pretty much teach you basic coding you need there are tons of people doing tuts on coding all the time....but the main problem is trying to find someone to hire you to code or finding the best way to make use of coding for the amount of hours you spend with it.
