Share your experiences, after how long do your new channels explode? How many videos did you upload to the channel until the explosion?

There's no hard and fast rule.

Something like Gangnam Style blows up because funny Coreans dancing. Who'd predict that?

Nobody knows really, just give it your best shot and see. Could be one video. Could be thousands until you hit jackpot.
 
In my case it wasn't as nice, I was uploading video games content and only got to like 200 subscribers in 6 months. I gave up anyway
 
The explosion of a channel doesn‘t only depend on time but on quality content
