Do you mean that without w-9 form and unverified account we can still get paid but have to wait longer to get articles approved?

del_boy is correct. You need to have phone verification now. Not a big deal if you're American. And even if you're not, it's still not a big deal. There are a lot of people here offering phone verification for $5.

It took them 4 days to accept and make an offer. The telephone verification number they gave me was wrong, so I emailed them my w-9, and still haven't heard anything back from them. I want to get everything set up before I start submitting more.

usually you see it under "my content" you see if accepted/declined and the price they pay.
yes, you will see it as accepted, or as processing, or as an offer is on the table to pay you X amount, and you can accept or decline the offer. My Content is where you can see all the updates on stuff, including page views and whether you have been paid or not for each article.
I think they update it once a day but i can't tell for sure.
