I was wondering how long some of you have seen one of your websites "dance" around google before it finally tired out and settled? My dance record is 2 weeks so far.

If you've experienced an unusual amount of dance time, what were your SEO methods?

Before all these google updates, I experienced a 3 month dance (not quite a sandbox as my rankings were changing every day around 100-200 position). I never stopped backlinking to it and one day 50+ keywords popped up on page 1 with my main keyword ranked at number 1.

The backlinks were all tiered with a mix of web 2.0 and ALN. I wouldn't recommend that now of course, with all the new updates google's been implementing.

A site of mine danced for about a month. #2, then out, #4 then out of the serps again. I was really frustrated, but it turned out well in the end after I pumped out quality 2.0 properties tiered with bookmarks and social signals. I also ordered some quality services from here.

Did you use high quality bookmarks or lower quality pligg bookmarks?

I find that a large web 2.0 structure with good content, high quality bookmarks to tier 1/2 and lower quality bookmarks to the other tiers helps my sites stop dancing. I also send social signals to my tier 1 properties, but my tier 1 is all unique and rank for their own terms (no spam).

Wish I knew this before, I used to go crazy whenever my sites danced. Actually, I still go crazy, cuz these days I don't even know if its a dance or a new penalty lol.

I'm about to try and balance things out with raw URL backlinks on 2 websites that have been giving me some problems with dancing around. Will post here if I see any results.

Kinda frustrated with this dance stuff, i have site dancing from 2 months. I don't know when it will get stable . One day it is on the 20th rank then next day 100+ then 10th then back to 100+.

Am also seeking for something that can help to stop site dancing.

If you want a great dancing experience, you might want to check out the different dance accessories by dance4less. It comes with different designs and styles.

This is not a thing to be worry when you start building backlinks to any website. This happens to most of people. So try to focus on the quality of backlinks also try some link variation.

All this google dancing, can be tiresome but I found it to be a good sign as long as you don't stop building links
