hey all ,
Old fart here who is getting pretty into this site .. loving it here ..met some great people ..made some connections ..did some business
been around the interwebs since the days of the BBS ( if you dont know what it was, maybe still is ) you are young :)
so how long have you been around these parts ?

The day I signed up here, or around that time I guess - 2008
 
I have been into online marketing since more than 3.5 years now

Bhw is a great place, I have learnt a lot here, made some great friends... I am still learning new stuff every now and then!

I now have a 600 square feet office on rent with a team of 13 people now, we are investing to double the office space in next 3-4 months to accomodate a larger team.

I have been majorly into social media marketing and loving every single bit of it ! :)

Been a member of this great community for almost 2 years now, and I'm loving every single day of it.
 
How much are you willing to bet some guy comes in here and say "Oh I have been doing it for years"
By the way.. what does "IM" mean?

But in all seriousness I have been into making money on with a computer long before I joined BHW.
I would say that BHW accelerated my career and I appreciate that.

I have also met some outstanding people here and continue to do so.

Times must have been so different back then. When i started in 2008 there was still markets that were not yet saturated and the internet was rich with opportunity. I've always wished I started much earlier.
 
Over 17 years in this business. Scary thoughts about age.......
 
Nice to hear from everyone .. Do share some of the finest/craziest stories from here .. would love to hear them :)

and darkfury .. its never too late .. people will be saying that for a few years to come atleast ..i think its a great time all around to be in this business.

Been doing IM for around a year and a half now. Before that, I had a few jobs doing technical stuff, I could say I started making money with computers in 2007.
 
I discovered BHW/IM when I had a hydroponics site in 2010. I became a full time IM last summer (2012).

Did my first experience in the time of 711/fairlight/[L]egend lolz, no earnings but more the prestige and the parties :D

Making money on the webs since back in the days when the word tube wasnt something on the web and the adult cash rained from the sky.
Full time IM since 4 years again cause i sold my porn sites at the right moment and picked things up again since a couple of years.

No porn anymore, just plain affiliate marketing and the right serps.

My start date, in the "Game" would be 2001/2 i cant remember exactly but im pretty sure it was 2001, back in the #spam / bulkBarn days.


crazy [not really funny] story = I use to own yahoo.tv, hotmail.tv google.tech & googleitbaby.com and a few others i don't remember. So then some how my name gets listed on the Rosko list and godaddy locks my account. Would not respond to emails, put me through circles on the phone, never let me speak to anyone who could do anything for me. I could not even get them on back order..

Since then i have always wonder how much, if anything would i have got for those domains. Or would "they" have just sued me for them and just took them from me.

We have all been around Internet Marketing since that day we paid for our first internet purchase or saw our first banner/pop-up.
