How long for shorts to get views?

I think It depends on the videos category and youtube algorithm!

I recently started a shorts-only channel, and every time I post a video, it gets 3/4k views within an hour. After that, nothing happens. How long have you been posting shorts?My shorts gets around 3k views in the first hour, after drops to 0

If the video does not get traction in initial few hours, it will not go viral. This is because YouTube already got idea that initial viewers are not liking the video.

yeah is really weird, I uploaded some shorts and they start getting views after 3 or 5 hours so it takes time or maybe people is not cliking on it because is not interesting enought are you adding tags to make sure is being pushed to the correct audience.

There are several things;
1) Content of the video, one video might get more views because of the content is more appealing.
2) Audience, Some of your audience will like one video content and maybe not the other as much.
3) Posting time: Posting time is also a factor that can be considered for a video to take more or less views.
