How long for Google to notice your Author Picture?

Just simply wondering the question above. My site is only a few weeks old, but I have author boxes under my posts with rel"author" etc. I've even done the contributes to on Google + and done quite a bit of posting on there. I knew it wouldn't be instant, but damn it's been awhile I thought they would have shown up by now. Is it a manual review?

I don't know, but I'd sure like to use my Avatar as a picture and continually comment on Matt Cutt's posts. :D
 
It usually takes up to a week or so.

I have author markups on some of my websites that I tie my name to, and it took about a week. It really depends on how frequently Google crawls your website.

I also think Google may be having issues surrounding this. I have had author markup since it came out and it all was working fine, up until a couple weeks ago. Some of them still have it displaying correctly in the serps, and a couple are not. The markups are still the same setup, and didn't change anything. So, that makes me believe Google is having issues.
 
On average about two weeks. I heard that it's as soon as Google crawls your site, but I have not found that to be the case.
 
I recently added it to two of my websites and after 2 - 3 days the authorship started showing up in the SERPs for some of the pages. I guess it was included for most (sub)pages within 7 - 10 days.
 
Can someone pm me the instructions on how to insert the author(google+ user) into your web page. Would appreciate it. Thank you!!!
 
I use a pretty women as profile picture, they approved but it gone no where after a while LOL!!
 
It takes mine an average of about 2-3 weeks. This was on 10 different sites.
 
I think there's not manual review on that author snippet...maybe, usually 1-2 weeks i got that author picture
 
I do not think that it is a manual review as long as you are doing it like this, you do not have any chances to do it like that.
So to make everything clear about this you need to make it sure.
 
Two Weeks For me, but truly, authorship of article is really really Seo friendly, i've noticed change in my comment, because most people now knows the blog is being controlled by a being and not a bot.
